The French rarities committee supports the Egyptian committee, and offered this space on his website for the EORC to develop its own webpages.
The Egyptian Ornithological Rarities Committee was launched in January 2010, to become the only adjudicator of rare bird records in Egypt. The EORC will maintain the checklist of birds recorded in Egypt, with the checklist published in 1989 by Goodman & Meininger in the ‘Birds of Egypt’ (BOE) as a starting point. Any addition to or deletion from this list is adjudicated by the EORC, as well as any record of species with less than 10 Egyptian records (a formal list of such species is available on the website). The EORC is composed of 9 voting members plus a secretary.

Please send all available details and documentation (including all photos) with your rarity form. Note that sending the photos to EORC include the right for EORC to possibly publish these photos in EORC reports (and exclusively in EORC reports).
We do hope to receive your reports on the rare birds in Egypt!
